Chicago Flower & Garden Show
The 2017 Chicago Flower & Garden Show exemplified the theme Chicago’s Blooming
. Dating as far back as 1847, the show traditionally features residential outdoor gardens and floral arrangements. We collaborated with competitors and suppliers to create an exhibit featuring the show’s first focus on Interior Plantscaping for Offices. Most exhibitors began their designs during the 2016 show, however, our company entered 2 months before opening night. The garden itself was small, only 20’ by 27.5’, though the impact was significantly larger. Our studio team designed an interactive and vivid office made of botanic elements featuring a 12’ wide living wall; an 8’ tall double-sided preserved moss and replica boxwood wall; and a custom-built 7’ tall interior herb growing shelf. Perhaps the most intriguing features of the garden were our mannequins that populated the garden office with style sporting clothing made of fresh flowers. Our participation gave the show a new dimension.
